Information Pamphlet

Our Eczema customers had kindly requested us to present new clients with a more comprehensive information pamphlet, allowing us to assist specific eczema sufferers to enjoy the full benefit of Healing Oil Products. Please be advised to contact a healthcare practitioner immediately if symptoms persist. Healing Oil Products are used for assistance in the treatment of blemished skin conditions and due to its natural workings should not be considered a quick fix or a miracle cure.

Eczema had been categorised as following by clients:

• wet and weepy;
• dry, flaky, scaly and itchy; dry and patchy
• seasonal;
• contact dermatitis;
• inner joint areas (elbows, knees etc)
• acute - most of the body or a combination of any of the above.

Through experimentation, a variety of combinations of Healing Oil Products have proven to give the best relief/assistance in healing.

Axhilirit© Eczema may present a detoxifying effect in some people, leading to a slight period of discomfort while toxins within the body are removed through the skin. If discomfort persists, please discontinue using the oils.

Healing Oil products contain traces of nuts.

For your convenience due to requests from our extensive eczema client base, our Axhilirit^© Eczema Oil is now also available blended into an all natural vegetable cream.

Wet and weepy:

The use of Axhilirit© Oil for its drying and healing benefits is advised. Apply a drop at a time to affected area twice a day, following up with an application once a day for a few days when symptoms disappear. A detoxifying bath with 10 drops of Axhilirit© Oil in not too hot bathwater had also been proven to be of great benefit in treating the whole body.

Dry, flaky, scaly and itchy; dry and patchy:

On hands, feet, between fingers and toes, on fingertips only:

Gently massage a drop of Axhilirit© Eczema Oil into the affected area, once or twice a day, following up with a very thin layer of Axhilirit© Ointment. Or use Axhilirit© Ointment or Axhilirit© Eczema Cream exclusively on these areas.

On head only (eg babies, scalp eczema):

If patchy, spot treat with Axhilirit© Eczema Oil directly on affected area, gently massaging a tiny amount of oil into the scalp. If the whole of the scalp is affected, rinse with two or three drops of Eczema Oil in 250ml of water. If in children without hair (infants) you can use a soothing agent such as Axhilirit© Ointment or Axhilirit© Eczema Cream, applying a thin layer over the area, once of twice a day.

Troublesome patches on certain areas of body:

Spot treat with Axhilirit© Eczema Oil, gently massaging a tiny amount of oil into affected areas once or twice a day, scaling down to once a day as condition improves. Keep on applying oil to the area for a few days after symptoms have disappeared. Alternatively, use Axhilirit© Eczema Cream, twice a day.

Large areas of the body:

The easiest way is to start with a healing bath, putting 10 drops of Axhilirit© Eczema Oil into not too hot bathwater. Alternatively, blend 5-10 drops of Axhilirit© Eczema Oil into a small amount of tissue/vitamin E oil/lotion/cream before applying to affected areas, or mix on demand, mixing a drop of oil to every teaspoon of tissue/vitamin E oil/lotion/cream, applying directly to affected area. Continue with bath treatments until eczema is under control, or use bath treatments as preventative care. Alternatively, use Axhilirit© Eczema Cream, twice a day.

Inner Joint Areas (elbows, knees, etc):

Some clients experience eczema only on the inner joint areas. They have found that a tiny amount of Axhilirit© Eczema Oil massaged into the area twice a day, followed up with a light coating of Axhilirit© Ointment when needed throughout the day, alleviates and heals the areas in the shortest time-span. Alternatively, use Axhilirit© Eczema Cream, twice a day.

Seasonal Eczema:

Usually with the onset of a new season, dry skin becomes a problem and escalates into eczema. To alleviate and help prevent this condition recurring, a regular healing bath in Axhilirit© Eczema Oil is advised. Add 5-10 drops of oil to not too hot bathwater to prevent any flare-ups. If the condition does occur, treat as appropriate to the extent of discomfort experienced.

Contact Dermatitis:

Mostly experienced as an allergic reaction to specific environmental substances, or severe stress related. The best results have been achieved with application of Axhilirit© Eczema Oil, gently massaged into effected areas twice a day, followed up with a thin layer of Axhilirit© Ointment or Axhilirit© Eczema Cream to help alleviate/prevent re-contamination of the skin area. Please contact a healthcare practitioner if condition persists after two weeks of treatment with Healing Oil Products.

Acute Eczema:

Use any of the above combinations, depending on severity and skin condition.

It is advised that Eczema sufferers with dry skin types take a healing bath in 5-10 drops of Axhilirit© Eczema Oil every few days to help maximize the effects of healing. Healing Oil Products is absorbed by the skin through osmosis. All our products are safe to use on babies and children and the Axhilirit© Ointment is especially beneficial with eczema in children, leaving a soothing, protecting layer on the skin.

The use of CORTISONE containing products is not advised when starting with alternative therapies. Alternative therapies usually have a detoxification effect on the body. This means that any area that has had recent treatment with a Cortisone containing product, would first be detoxified before the natural properties in alternative therapies start working on the actual damage of the skin.

This may result in a 'flare-up' period when using Healing Oils, usually subsiding within a day of two. Many acute eczema sufferers have had great results with treating the more manageable areas with Axhilirit©, while still using Cortisone containing products on the acute areas. As the Axhilirit© treated areas healed, they would start on the next area of affected skin, slowly blending the Axhilirit© into previously Cortisone treated areas.

Eczema or Psoriasis? What is the difference

In simple terms, Eczema is the inflammation of the epidermis (skin).

Psoriasis is a chronic, auto immune disease that causes the speeding up of the growth of skin cells without shedding the old cells.
