Ingredients:

All our ingredients are from the highest quality natural plant and essential oils obtainable in South Africa.

Safety:

• Our Oils are absorbed through the skin and do not interfere with the working of alternative therapies, including homeopathic or natural remedies.
• It is safe to use on babies, children and animals.
• Interaction with pharmaceutical chemicals has not been established. Please consult a Healthcare Practitioner if in doubt, or using chronic medication.
• Organ Transplant Patients should not use Healing Oil Products as the oils boost the immunity and thus may negate the efficacy of immuno-suppressive drugs.
• Alternative therapies usually have a detoxification effect on the body. This means that any area that has had recent treatment with a Cortisone or Steroid containing products, would first be detoxified before the natural properties in alternative therapies start working on the actual damage of the skin.
• Healing Oil Products contain traces of Nuts.
• Use with caution if sensitive to any of the ingredients, pine derivatives, Tee Tree or essential oils.
• The use of essential oils during pregnancy is not advisable
• Do not use any of our REJUVINIT containing products during Pregnancy

Shelf life and storage instructions:

• Oils:

Store at room temperature. Best before 18 months, after this the oils may thicken.

• Creams:

Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container. Use before expiry date. Expiry date will        be indicated at bottom of product. Do not use if the product has separated, discoloured or dried      out. Normal colour is light creamy with a pinkish or yellow tint.

• Ointments:

Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container. Manufacture date indicated at bottom        of container. The Ointments are long lasting (up to three to five years from manufacture date),        heat resistant and can be used even if they have melted. They will set again when in a cooler temperature. The therapeutic properties of the product are not diminished.

• Nail Oil:

Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container. Manufacture date indicated at bottom of     container. This blend is long lasting (up to three to five years from manufacture date). The               natural waxes might set at cold temperatures. Heat product between hands to melt before use.

The Origins of Healing Oil

At the age of 22, I was given a 14.2 Basutu/Appaloosa mare at the local riding school. Juggling work and horse became a priority and I was soon introduced to the perils of horse ownership.

My horse and others soon escaped the stables during which my horse fell on the tar road, splitting the skin right to the bone on both front knees.

Conventional treatment did not give me satisfying results and after about a week of struggling and exasperation I mentioned it to an old friend where I was storing my food at that stage. I would forever be grateful for the introduction to Healing Oil that day. Scabs started forming within days after liberal application to both infected knees. Within three weeks I was riding again and the wounds healed beautifully, with all the hair growing back the same black as her bay legs. The people at the riding school could not believe it.

Shortly after the complete healing of my mare’s knees, I was called again by the riding school. Now she managed to rear and landed in a stick, puncturing her chest. By the time I got to the riding school, the vet had already cleaned the wound and gave instructions on how to deal with a puncture wound.

I was getting to be an expert in nursing wounds. Also about a week later of hosing the hole and conventional treating, it was infected and my mare was running a temperature. I’ve already spent most of my salary on vetbills and was fed up with the wound not responding properly to loving treatment. Out of desperation I eventually returned to my Healing Oil, drew a 20cc syringe and placed it inside the wound, squirting everything out straight into the raw wound.

My mare was quite accommodating about the whole effort and did not even flinch. I did not look back after that day. With a few repeated treatments I noticed that the wound was getting smaller every time I inserted the syringe. It took about four weeks for the wound to close up and another week for the brown hair to grow back.

I fortunately did not have any further incidents with this horse. A few cuts were treated with Healing Oil throughout the years. With mostly a single application, I did not need to worry about infections and when the ‘skin’ of the Healing Oil was shed by the body, new healthy skin and brown hair was the result every time.

Life happened, I got married to a wonderful man that accepted my horses and myself. We moved around a lot but kept horses part of our lives. Most wounds were treated with Healing Oil throughout the years, when we had it available. From warts on noses, to mud-fever in the rainy Gauteng season. Mange spots (after a good wash of course) saw hair return as if by magic – the same color.

Unfortunately, no matter how well you look after your horses, there is one thing you cannot avoid. Deadly AHS. I just had my first child when the terrible disease swept through parts of the country. I lost both my appaloosa stallion and my pregnant boerperd mare. It took me years to recuperate from their loss.

But at the age of three my daughter started begging me for a pony. So daddy indulged her and my best friend found a suitable pony (big enough so mommy can start riding again.) Within weeks vet-bills became a standard internet monthly payment. I soon realized that the ‘new’ wound ointments just did not give me the same results as the Healing Oil I used to have.

I dug through all my old stuff and found a little bit left in a bottle. I treasured the ancient mix and had the exact same great results as previously.

I had my second daughter and then my life was turned upside down. A freak accident in the kitchen left me with third degree burns over 35% of my body. I was in intensive care for three weeks, being brought back from “The Other Side” twice. Suddenly I could not do anything for myself and hubby employed people to help me. My seven week old baby had to go to a sitter every day. I could not even look after her.

We tried all sorts of lotions and potions on my burnt face, hands and legs. After two years I made peace with the scarring. At least I was sort of functional and could ride a calm horse on my own again.

I had to give up my secretarial position as a bad job. It just did not make sense to work with paper while being covered in soothing balms the whole time and having to attend physio therapy twice a day - just to keep some mobility within your hands.

I could no longer cope with everything and hubby relocated the whole ‘farm’ to the Western Cape.

Now if you think the Garden Route is heaven, think again if you were used to the comfort of Gauteng. Nothing is easily available in this area.

Anyway, so after three years of stabling, we found a place in Wilderness and had the whole family on the same property again. We were barely settled when my 22year old Thoroughbred ripped off half his hoof in a barbed wire fence. The vet said put down, I said no. We patched the hoof back together and although it healed, I really battled with it for months. Eventually it healed sufficiently for him to go out into the paddock.

One day I was putting away old filing and came across my old Healing Oil recipe. I did jump with joy. So we got all the ingredients together and made us a small batch of oil.

This I applied it to my horse’s foot once a day, he kicked the bottle over and I just absently rubbed the spilt oil into my scarred hands. It really felt nice, but I did not give it a second thought, applying it to myself whenever I treated my horse, until my hubby almost took off his thumb!

We went through the normal range of emotions of shock, then faintness, then hospital and emergency surgeons. It was apparently not too bad a wound (although it did nick the bone) and they super-glued it back together.

Hubby just could not keep from staying still and within a week the super-glue was non-existent and the wound infected. So we put some of our Healing Oil for the horse on his hand. Within four days, the scab came off and the wound had healed. The scar was a dark purple but closed completely.

In the meantime I was still getting Healing Oil all over myself from treating my Thoroughbred. Then one morning hubby mentioned that my hands were getting skin-coloration back and that hairs were growing on the five-year old scars!

We looked at each other as the light-bulb was switched on. What would have happened if I used Healing Oil right after coming out of Hospital. Would my scars have been non-existent? We will never know.

The results I had in my face since the discovery that it works just as well for humans, was phenomenal. You cannot even see where I lost the tip of my nose and the scarring in my neck is gone. I’m currently working on the darker marks of my original skin-tone to blend in with my ‘new’ skin. Even my wrinkles are disappearing.

In the meantime we were dishing out our ‘new’ discovery to friends and family who looked as if they could use it, calling on all family members that had used it throughout the years and receiving their opinions upon the oils as well.

We’ve only had positive, life-changing results so far and were requested by numerous people to start marketing the product.
